Sponsorships and membership payments, built in
Members can put their business in front of the whole chapter with a Member Spotlight, a chapter sponsorship or a meeting sponsorship, bought and paid for in the app. Dues and application fees are paid online too, straight to the chapter.
Sponsorships members buy themselves
- Member Spotlight: a member's business featured for a month on the check-in screen and in meeting mode, plus members' home screens, monthly reports and the directory
- Chapter sponsor: a business sponsoring the chapter for a term, in every chapter placement
- Meeting sponsor: one meeting's check-in screen and meeting mode
Each chapter sets its own prices. Members pay by card and the sponsorship goes live right away; the chapter leader is told and can cancel with a full refund.
Never a competitor in the room
A sponsor is never shown in a chapter where a member holds the same business category, unless that member agrees. Members always come first.
Network sponsors across every chapter
Your organization can sell sponsorships across many chapters. The sponsor pays from a secure link, and each chapter's share is sent to its own Stripe account automatically. See multi-chapter reporting.
Dues and application fees, paid online
- Annual or monthly dues, paid by card, with each member's paid-through date on the leader's member list
- Renewal reminders by email, and monthly dues that renew by themselves until cancelled
- The application fee, paid from a secure link in the email confirming someone's request to join
Dues and application fees go straight to the chapter's own Stripe account. Ecoferral takes nothing from them.

Every sale shows what was paid, the platform fee, the card fee and what the chapter keeps. Chapters connect the Stripe account they already have, or create one in a few minutes.
Questions
Does Ecoferral take a cut of our dues?
No. Dues and application fees go straight to the chapter's own Stripe account, with no Ecoferral fee.
What does Ecoferral charge on sponsorships?
A platform fee on sponsorships sold online (10% unless your plan says otherwise), plus Stripe's card fee. The rest goes to the chapter, or to the organization for network sponsorships, with each chapter's share sent to it.
Do chapters need Stripe?
To take payments online, yes: a free Stripe account, either the one the chapter already has or a new one. Chapters without one can still add sponsors by hand and use payment links.
Can a member sponsor with their own business?
Yes. A member's own business can be a Member Spotlight, a chapter sponsor or a meeting sponsor; its name, logo and category come from their listing.
