Ecoferral Alongside Your Chamber Software
Your chamber software runs dues, events and the directory. Ecoferral runs your member referral groups alongside it: referrals, check-in, guests and reports.

The short version
Ecoferral
Ecoferral runs the chamber's member referral groups: referrals between members through to closed business, QR check-in, guests, one-per-category seats and a report for each group.

When Chamber management software may be the better choice
Your chamber software is enough on its own when:
- Your chamber doesn't run referral groups, or plans to only hold occasional networking events. Event registration and check-in already cover those.
- Referrals are sent by staff, not members. If the chamber passes inquiries to members from its office, ChamberMaster can send referrals or leads to members from the system you already use.
- Your groups don't track referrals, attendance or closed business, and meet mainly to get to know each other.
- You want everything in one system: Ecoferral doesn't connect to any chamber software, so a referral group's members are kept in Ecoferral as well.
The details
Most chambers of commerce already run on chamber management software, sometimes called an association management system: GrowthZone (ChamberMaster), Glue Up, WildApricot, MemberClicks and others. It handles dues, member records, events, the business directory and email, and it does those jobs well.
Many chambers also run member referral groups (some call them leads groups): small groups of members who meet every week or two and pass each other qualified referrals. That weekly work is where chamber software tends to stop, and where Ecoferral starts. Ecoferral doesn't replace your chamber software. It runs alongside it, for the referral groups only.
What each one does
Your chamber software runs the chamber: membership levels and dues, renewals and invoices, the member database, chamber events with tickets, the public business directory, newsletters and, often, the chamber's website. ChamberMaster can also send referrals or leads to members, which suits a chamber office passing on inquiries it receives.
Ecoferral runs each referral group's week. Members give each other referrals from their phones and follow them through to closed business, with the amount. Meetings have QR check-in, RSVPs and a meal count. Guests sign up on the group's website and are followed up after their visit. Each group can hold one seat per business category, and every group gets its own website and a monthly report. Chamber staff see every group side by side.
How they're priced
Chamber software is priced for the whole chamber. On their own websites, WildApricot starts at $66 a month for 100 contacts, Glue Up from $3,000 a year, MemberClicks from $3,500 a year, and GrowthZone gives prices by quote.
Ecoferral is priced per referral group: $30 a group per month on network plans (minimum $99 a month), or $39 a month for a single group. Members pay nothing.
Running both
- Keep the chamber's records where they are. Chamber dues, events and the full directory stay in your chamber software. Ecoferral holds only the members of each referral group.
- Bring each group over once. Add members yourself or send us a spreadsheet; white-glove import is $150 per group, including an hour of leader training. Ecoferral doesn't connect to any chamber software, so changes to a group's members are made in Ecoferral too.
- Use chamber events to find guests. Invite people you meet at mixers to visit a group; the group's website takes it from there.
- Show members what the groups produce. Each group's report shows referrals passed and closed business, a strong reason to renew.

Questions
Does Ecoferral replace our chamber software?
No. Keep your chamber software for dues, member records, events, the directory and email. Ecoferral runs only your member referral groups: referrals, meetings, guests, seats and each group's website and reports.
Doesn't our chamber software already handle referrals?
Partly, in some cases. ChamberMaster can send referrals or leads to members, which suits a chamber office passing on inquiries. None of the four websites we checked mention members passing referrals to each other and tracking them to closed business.
Does Ecoferral connect to GrowthZone, Glue Up, WildApricot or MemberClicks?
No. There's no connection or sync. Each group's members are added once, by hand or from a spreadsheet, and kept up to date in Ecoferral.
Do chamber members pay to use it?
No. Ecoferral is priced per referral group, and members pay nothing. See the pricing page for plans.
